Potential participants are encouraged to contact groups for more information before attending.This directory provides up-to-date listings for groups in the metropolitan St. Louis area. Each listing contains contact information, and when possible, a brief description of the group’s goal/purpose. NAMI WebConnect Support Group

NAMI Minnesota has a web-based support group for adults living with a mental illness. NAMI WebConnect is provided online and in real time with the hope of serving those who cannot attend a support group in person. The group is led by individuals who live with a mental illness and are doing well in recovery.

This group is for individuals at any point in recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. Abstinence is not “required”, however participants must be sober or otherwise not functionally impaired.

Building Recovery of Individual Dreams and Goals through Education and Support 
B.R.I.D.G.E.S. www.mha-em.org
BRIDGES is a peer-to-peer support group led by a trained facilitator, designed to serve adults with mental illness. Meetings are held in various locations in the metropolitan St. Louis area and throughout Missouri. Call for more information about a location near you or to indicate interest in getting a group started in your area. A 10-week educational course is also available. There is no fee for either program. BRIDGES classes and support groups are open only to adults with mental health diagnoses.  ShowMe OCD and Anxiety, Depression Support Group
This support group welcomes persons who face concerns with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, anxiety disorder, and/or depression. Participants engage at whatever level is comfortable for them.  Members have a desire to better manage their illness and feel better.  Group dynamics focus on motivation, improved problem-solving and action. Family and friends welcome.
This group is sponsored by CenterPointe Hospital; meetings are held at a satellite office building.

 Depression Bipolar Support Alliance  Support Groups

Currently DBSA St. Louis operates about 30 support groups a month at a variety of community locations for people whose lives are affected by mental illness. Most of our meetings are open to both consumers and their friends and families . Some of our groups have a special focus and are open to targeted groups. Eating Disorder Recovery Lunch

This monthly event is an opportunity for people in recovery from eating disorders, striving for recovery, to get together for a therapeutic and safe lunch.
