The NAMI St. Louis Roots of Resilience Gala is an influential event dedicated to supporting mental health initiatives and celebrating the strength of the human spirit. We believe that the name change of our Gala accurately reflects our roots as the largest grassroots mental health organization in the country.
This inspiring gala will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles offering an inspirational and elegant atmosphere for a night of celebration, connection, and impact.

2025 Gala Award Nominations
Each year we take nominations for a mental health professional, individual, or organization that deserve an award for their hard work and dedication!
Goodman Legacy Award
This award is given to an individual(s) that have made an outstanding contribution to the mental health community. Mortimer Goodman, a social worker whose daughter had a mental health condition, was a NAMI St. Louis board member and vice president at the time of his death on August 18, 1981. In March of the following year, the board created this annual award in his name, honoring his legacy of championing for mental health and having a passion for improving lives of people impacted by mental health conditions.
Community Innovation Award
This award is given to an individual or organization that have implemented an innovation idea or program that benefits individuals living with a mental health condition(s) and/or their families.
Corporate Partner Award
This award is given to an organization that has supported NAMI St. Louis' mission to provide education, advocacy, and support essential to the recovery, resilience, and well-being of all who have mental health needs and for their families, caregivers, and the community.
